4.7K Resistors

A 4.7 kilo-ohm carbon film resistor in the standard quarter-watt through-hole package used throughout hobby and prototype electronics. The standard I2C pull-up resistor value, and the required pull-up for DS18B20 temperature sensors on the 1-Wire bus. Value is marked with the standard four-band colour code. Remember the power rating when choosing: a quarter-watt part dissipating more than that will discolour, drift in value and eventually fail, so check current and voltage across the resistor in higher power circuits.
