CAN-Bus Shield
MCP2515 CAN-Bus shield for automotive and industrial networking
Connects an Arduino to a CAN bus, the network used in vehicles and industrial equipment. With an OBD-II adapter it can read live engine data from a car — RPM, coolant temperature, fault codes — or, in industrial work, communicate with PLCs and drives that speak CAN. Uses the MCP2515 controller with a transceiver, giving the noise immunity and error handling that a plain serial link cannot provide over long cable runs. Reads live vehicle data via OBD-II adapters; Robust differential signalling survives electrical noise; Hardware message filtering reduces Arduino workload; Screw terminals and DB9 for flexible connection
