LM2596S 3A 35W Adjustable DC-DC Step-Down Converter Module with 3-Digit Digital Voltmeter Display & Select Button### Specifications The module uses the **LM2596S DC-DC step-down (buck) regulator** and supports an input voltage of approximately **4–40V DC** with an adjustable output voltage of approximately **1.25–37V DC**. It can provide up to **3A maximum output current**, with approximately **2A recommended for continuous operation without additional cooling**, and supports up to **35W maximum output power** depending on operating conditions. The output voltage is adjusted using an onboard **multi-turn potentiometer**. A **3-digit LED digital voltmeter display** provides convenient voltage monitoring, while the **Select push button** allows switching between input and output voltage readings. Connections are provided through **IN+, IN−, OUT+, and OUT−** terminals. As a step-down converter, the required output voltage must always be lower than the input voltage. Actual maximum current and power depend on the input/output voltage difference, cooling, airflow, and ambient temperature.
