GPS Shield

A GPS receiver in shield form, giving position, altitude, speed and accurate UTC time over a serial connection in standard NMEA sentences. Combined with an SD shield it makes a straightforward data logger for vehicle tracking, field surveys and route recording. As with any GPS, it needs a clear view of the sky and will not lock indoors — allow a few minutes for the first fix.
