L293DNE Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver with Protection Diodes

The Texas Instruments version of the L293D dual H-bridge driver, functionally equivalent and pin compatible. Drives two DC motors bidirectionally or one stepper, with internal flyback diodes protecting against the inductive spikes motors generate. Rated at 600 mA per channel continuous. As with any bipolar H-bridge of this generation, it drops around 2 volts internally, so a 6V supply delivers roughly 4V to the motor.
