Dual H-bridge motor driver, 5-35V, 2A per channel, for robot cars

In Stock

The most common motor driver in hobby robotics: two independent H-bridge channels that each drive a DC motor forward and backward with PWM speed control, or one stepper motor. Simple to wire and very well documented. Be aware of its main weakness before you design around it: the L298N is an older bipolar transistor design that drops roughly 2 volts across itself, so a 6V supply delivers about 4V to the motor, and it gets genuinely hot under load. For efficient or battery-critical builds, a MOSFET driver such as the TB6612FNG wastes far less power. Two motors with independent direction and speed control; Onboard 5V regulator can power an Arduino; Screw terminals for solid motor and supply wiring; Extremely well documented with example code everywhere
