S8050 Low Voltage, High-Current NPN Small-Signal Transistor

A NPN bipolar junction transistor rated at 25V collector-emitter and 700 mA collector current, used for switching moderate loads such as small relays and LED arrays, where a 100 mA transistor would be insufficient. As a NPN device it sinks current to ground when its base is driven high. Always fit a base resistor when driving it from a microcontroller pin - connecting a base directly to a logic output will damage both.
