Stepper Motor Nema17
NEMA 17 bipolar stepper motor, 1.8 degree step, 42 mm frame
The US17HS4401S / 17HS4401S NEMA 17 stepper motor is a versatile choice for desktop 3D printers, CNC machines, plotters, robotics and automation projects. Its standard 42 × 42 mm NEMA 17 frame makes it compatible with a wide range of brackets and machine assemblies. With a 1.8° step angle, it provides 200 full steps per revolution, while a microstepping driver can provide smoother and finer motion. This model is rated at 1.7A per phase with approximately 0.40 Nm holding torque. It requires a current-controlled stepper motor driver such as an A4988, DRV8825 or TB6600 and must not be driven directly from Arduino GPIO pins. Standardised 42 mm frame fits 3D printers and CNC machines; 200 full steps per revolution, far more with microstepping; Holds position firmly when energised; Precise open-loop positioning with no encoder needed
