A substantially larger stepper than a NEMA 17, with a 57 mm frame and several times the holding torque. This is the size used on serious CNC routers, plasma tables and industrial positioning axes where a NEMA 17 would lose steps under cutting load. It needs a driver rated for its current — a TB6600 rather than an A4988 — and a higher voltage supply to maintain torque at speed.
