22R Resistors

A 22 ohm carbon film resistor in the standard quarter-watt through-hole package used throughout hobby and prototype electronics. Commonly used in series with signal lines to damp ringing, and on USB data lines for impedance matching. Value is marked with the standard four-band colour code. Remember the power rating when choosing: a quarter-watt part dissipating more than that will discolour, drift in value and eventually fail, so check current and voltage across the resistor in higher power circuits.
