TC1427 Dual 1.2A MOSFET Driver

Drives power MOSFET gates far faster than a microcontroller pin can. This matters more than it appears: a MOSFET gate is effectively a capacitor, and a slow-charging gate means the MOSFET spends longer in its partially-on region where it dissipates serious heat. At 1.2 amps of gate drive the transition is fast, so the MOSFET runs cool.
