A 1N4148 small signal fast switching diode rated at 100V and 200mA. A small signal diode built for speed rather than current. Its 4 nanosecond recovery makes it right for logic circuits, signal clamping, protection on input pins and anything switching at high frequency, where a 1N4007 would be far too slow. Supplied in the standard axial through-hole package with the cathode marked by a band. Rated 1000V reverse voltage and 1A forward current; Standard axial package fits breadboards and stripboard; Cathode band clearly marked; Very low cost and widely available
