Tap Module Sensor

Detects a sharp knock or tap through a piezo or spring element and outputs a digital pulse. Used for knock-to-activate switches, impact alarms, tamper detection and simple percussion input. Sensitivity is adjustable on the onboard potentiometer. It responds to sudden mechanical shock rather than continuous vibration, so it is better at detecting a distinct tap than at measuring ongoing movement.
