Tilt Switch Sensor
Tilt switch sensor module, detects orientation change and tipping
Reports whether it is upright or tipped by means of a small conductive element that rolls to close or open a contact as the module rotates. Used for tip-over alarms, orientation detection, shake sensing and toy projects. It gives a simple binary tilted or not-tilted state, not an angle: if you need to know how far something has rotated, an MPU6050 accelerometer is the right part instead. Note that modern equivalents use a rolling ball rather than mercury. Simple binary output, no processing needed; Detects tipping and orientation change instantly; Works from a single digital pin; Useful for tip-over alarms and shake detection
