A 1N5822 Schottky rectifier diode rated at 40V and 3A. A 3 amp Schottky diode with the same low forward drop of around 0.5 volts and fast recovery. Used in switching power supplies, solar charge controllers and higher current low voltage circuits where efficiency matters. Supplied in the standard axial through-hole package with the cathode marked by a band.
