ACS712 20A Range Current Sensor

The mid-range ACS712, measuring DC or AC current up to plus or minus 20 amps at 100 millivolts per amp with 2.1 kV isolation from the measuring circuit. Output is an analogue voltage centred at 2.5V that rises or falls with current direction. A sensible default for motor monitoring, battery current and solar charge measurement, where peaks comfortably exceed 5A but rarely approach 30A. Choose the smallest range covering your peak to keep resolution.
