ACS712 5A Range Current Sensor
ACS712 Hall effect current sensor, plus or minus 5A, 185 mV per amp
Measures DC or AC current up to plus or minus 5 amps using a Hall effect element, with 2.1 kV isolation between the current path and your microcontroller. Output is an analogue voltage centred at 2.5V, rising for current in one direction and falling for the other. Of the three ACS712 versions this one has the finest resolution at 185 mV per amp — always choose the smallest range that covers your peak current, because using a 30A module to measure 2A throws away most of your ADC resolution. Highest resolution of the ACS712 range at 185 mV/A; Measures both AC and DC, bidirectional; 2.1 kV isolation protects your microcontroller; Screw terminals accept solid load wiring
