Motion Sensor

Detects the infrared heat signature of a person or animal moving within range, making it the standard sensor for automatic lights, alarms and presence detection. Two potentiometers set detection range up to about 7 metres and how long the output stays HIGH after a trigger. Because it responds to movement of a heat source rather than heat itself, a person sitting perfectly still will eventually stop triggering it. Allow about a minute of stabilisation after power-on before trusting its output.
