CNC Shield

The standard control board for hobby CNC machines, laser engravers and small plotters. It sits on an Uno running GRBL firmware and provides four stepper driver sockets (X, Y, Z and a fourth axis that usually clones one of the others), plus terminals for limit switches, spindle control and emergency stop. Stepper drivers are not included and are chosen separately: A4988 for general work, DRV8825 for higher current, or TMC2208 if you want near-silent operation. Set the current limit potentiometer on each driver before you power up.
